I guess they had forgotten because at the end of the service, I was handed a receipt saying they had charged my card on file. When I checked in at the beginning, I asked the employee not to charge my card because I had gift cards I wanted to use first. I tried my best to put on a happy face for my boyfriend who had no idea what was going on and when we went to check out, that’s when the final straw happened. When I explained that I had a service scheduled, she was very apologetic, but nonetheless, the interaction was jarring, and left me feeling even less relaxed than I was before (I was already rushing because their facilities were in the middle of closing while I was preparing for our massage). That’s when I was approached, or rather accosted, while I was completely naked in the shower by another employee accusing me of not having a day pass and asking me to leave.

After twenty minutes in the jacuzzi (all we could spare) I rushed to change for our massage. Their employee (Joe or Joey) did a wonderful job however, of trying to make the best of the situation but we still felt rushed the entire time. There was no notice anywhere on their website about it. I wish they would have called or sent an e-mail in advance to let us know they were closing early so we could have planned accordingly. I was disappointed, considering that we purposely booked a later flight that day so we would have time to relax and enjoy the amenities that came with our service. When I first booked the reservation a month in advance, I called to confirm that a reservation would give us access to their co-ed facilities (jacuzzi, steam room, etc.) and when I asked how long we would have access, the employee told me all day (turns out you only get four hours but that didn’t even matter.) When we arrived for our massage, we were told the facility would be closing early, in fact it would be closing immediately after our massage. It’s unfortunate that our experience at the Spa at Linq would be the complete opposite. I was excited to treat my and boyfriend to our first couples massage together to end our Vegas trip on a high note.
